Arrive at Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Upon arrival you will be met by local representative and
transfer to your hotel. Meet your local Tour Director today.

Day 2 Anchorage July 4
Today, enjoy a local city tour of Anchorage featuring Lake Hood where 190+ floatplanes takeoff and land daily, Earthquake Park to learn about the 1964 Earthquake, the historic downtown area. and enjoy local festivities of July 4th. This evening, enjoy a night of the 4th of July fireworks show. Meals: N/A

Day 3 Homer July 5
Board your coach as you tour south to the coastal community of Homer, known as halibut fishing capital of the world. En route, enjoy a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see Alaska’s wildlife up close. Lunch on own. This afternoon enjoy a city tour of Homer including the famous Homer Spit.

Day 4 Homer July 6
A day at leisure in Homer. There is lots to choose form to do today, such as hiking, boat cruises and
museum visits, such as the Pratt Museum, Islands and Ocean Center and more.

Board your coach this morning, as you tour to the resort community of Girdwood. Your day in Girdwood is at leisure to explore on own or maybe try out the spa.

Day 6 Talkeetna July 8
Board your motorcoach as you tour north to the community of Talkeetna. In Talkeetna, enjoy an
included Jet Boat Ride (2 hours). The remainder of your day is at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 7 Denali July 9
Your morning is at leisure. Later this morning, board deluxe dome rail for rail service from Talkeetna to Denali. Arrive in Denali and you will have the rest of the day to explore on own, or purchase an optional tour such a guided hike, flightseeing, rafting, and more. Dinner will be included this evening.

Day 9 Fairbanks (Full Day) July 11
This morning, tour north to Fairbanks for a brief city tour of Fairbanks featuring the Trans-Alaska
Pipeline, Morris Thompson Cultural Center, and North Pole to visit Santa Claus House. Enjoy lunch today at the Riverboat (Miner’s Lunch) before your cruise down the Chena and Nenana River aboard the Riverboat Discovery Cruise. The riverboat stops at a recreated Athabascan Indian Village where you will have the chance to learn about the history and culture of Native Alaskans. Tonight, visit a local Musher’s Kennel where you will have the chance to meet the team and hear tales from the trail. Dinner will be included.

Day 10 Valdez July 12
Board your coach for your journey south to the coastal community of Valdez. En route, enjoy a visit to the Wrangell/St. Elias Visitor Center. Continue to Valdez.

Day 11 Anchorage July 13
Today transfer to your *vessel, as you cross Prince William Sound today. Be sure to keep your eye out for views of marine wildlife. Arrive at Whittier and transfer through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel on your way to the Anchorage.

*If weather is poor, group will motorcoach from Valdez to Anchorage.

Day 12 Anchorage July 14
Today, enjoy a tour north of Anchorage to the farming community of Palmer. Enjoy a visit to the Reindeer Farm to learn about these amazing (and gentle) creatures. A visit to the Palmer Visitor Center is included, where you learn about Alaska’s early colonist. Return to Anchorage for the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day 13 Cruise Embarkation July 15
This morning board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic transfer to the coastal community of Seward. Upon arrival into Seward, it will be time to say goodbye to your local Tour Director as you are transferred to the Seward Cruise Terminal for embarkation.
